Hey everyone...
So, I went ahead and set up a small solar array out in my vineyard.
Here is the gear I’m running: an 80W photovoltaic module,
a 10A charge controller,
a 500W modified sine wave inverter,
and I’ve tested it with both a 145Ah battery and a newer 225Ah unit.
Now, here is where the headache starts—the controller just refuses to fully charge the battery. It keeps sitting there stubbornly claiming it's only at 75%, even though I know it should be higher. To make matters worse, if I turn on a single 20W energy-efficient bulb, the whole thing drains in about ten minutes flat.
I have already swapped between the 145Ah battery and the new 225Ah one to rule out a bad cell, but the result is always the same.
Does anyone have any idea what on earth could be causing this mess?
