My son asked when he might try staying up all night. We could attempt it from Thursday into 😁Friday.

Then, on Friday morning, I'll drop him off at school.😁

What a brutal wake-up call. I probably won't get any sleep tonight, but there's no way I'm missing the first practice session in Los Angeles 🙂

neonfox65, you're thinking about NASCAR, but this is F1. We're talking about machines with vastly different technical configurations here; Friday is absolutely critical. Especially when we're facing the first race following a major regulation change.

It depends on how much they favor Lewis Hamilton. Personally, I’d put Sebastian Vettel at 50%, Kimi Räikkönen at 20%, Lewis at 25%, and Valtteri Bottas at 5%.

Look at this: Alonso vs Sergio Perez at 1.8 for qualifying 🙂. Honestly, what idiots. It's Honda versus Mercedes.

For us die-hard F1 fans, the season officially kicks off in exactly 51 hours. I'm absolutely buzzing for FP1, I seriously can't wait! 🙂

Is there any actual logic here other than pure incompetence on their part for setting such high odds? Alonso is already warning us about an incredibly tough weekend, and the press is claiming McLaren's comeback is nothing short of pure magic from Huodinijev, so I don't see why I shouldn't drop at least a grand on this.

In this life, absolutely nothing is ever certain, is it? If we look at the math, in 99.99% of possible scenarios, Perez is going to cross the line ahead of Alonso. It is only in that one singular instance out of ten thousand that Alonso manages to edge out the Mexican driver. Do you really want to carry the burden of having made a mistake that leaves you bleeding cash, especially when there isn't a soul around to offer you any consolation or tell you it wasn't your fault? 😬

You aren't wrong. It's just that if we were being realistic, the odds on Perez would be practically 1.01. These geniuses of ours are giving Alonso an equal shot; perhaps they know something we don't.😁

It is common knowledge that Alonso can find two seconds per lap. 🤣
