Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD) symptoms and recovery

Hey everyone.
I've come down with Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease.
Fever kicked in 5 days ago—only lasted
one day—but then this brutal, almost unbearable
sore throat hit 4 days ago and hasn't let up
since. It’s still just as bad. The rash on my palms and
soles is actually starting to clear up, but this part—
the throat pain—is killing me and won't quit. My doctor said
there's no cure, just manage the symptoms, and suggested using panthenol.
Anyone know how much longer this is gonna drag on? Thanks! 🙂

It lasts about a week. My take? This virus seems to target kids, while adults only catch it if their immune system is already compromised—so maybe look into beefing that up. I gave my kid some honey and propolis, and they bounced back pretty quick.

First I dealt with some gum inflammation—so my doctor says that’s what tanked my immune system and let this virus take hold 😲
