I’m running into some serious issues with my graphics card—basically, about ten minutes into any game, things start going sideways.
When I’m playing Minecraft Modpacks, I get hit with this visual glitch image

But when I move on to something more demanding, like War Thunder, it gets even worse. After about ten minutes of play, the screen just goes black, and then—out of nowhere—this bizarre mess of brown lines and waves starts crawling across the monitor. It happens every single time, and it's driving me crazy because I have to hard-restart the whole computer just to get back to work.
I've already tried nuking macOS and doing a clean reinstall, but no luck there.
I even went as far as to uninstall the GPU drivers, grab the latest ones from the site, and perform a fresh install... still nothing.

PLEASE, I NEED SOME HELP HERE.... 🙂 🤷 😕

In case the image isn't showing up for some reason, here's the link https://imageshack.com/i/id385ac4j

So, when the screen goes totally black, does the little indicator light on the monitor turn orange? Or is it supposed to stay green?

Well, why not try swapping in a different monitor?

Lawrence Barnes64, you think there’s actually a signal being sent? Because whenever I hit that black screen, the indicator light turns this weird orange—almost reddish—instead of its usual green, and then the monitor just sits there mocking me with a "No Signal" message.

Brian Edwards78, why would it do that? It was working perfectly fine before...

I haven't had any issues like this in the past, but I was over at my grandma's place for a week and didn't touch my rig once. My brother and sister were using it while I was gone, and look, they aren't exactly gamers—they don't mess with Windows or anything technical—they just surf the web and hang out on Facebook. But the second I fired up the PC to jump into a few rounds of WoT, everything went south. After just three battles, the screen goes pitch black, followed by these nasty brown wavy lines, and the speakers start making this horrible grinding noise. It just keeps looping like that until I force a hard restart. Even hitting Ctrl-Alt-Del does absolutely nothing... :P 😢

Honestly, my monitors always worked perfectly right up until the second they just died—total black screens while that little orange power light just kept blinking at me. 😁

Check your cables first, but if everything looks solid—then it’s probably time to look at the monitor itself.

So, right now the monitor behaves itself perfectly fine—until I actually fire up a game... then everything goes exactly how I warned you guys it would.

And if that actually works... look, I was just playing WoT again and the game just straight-up dies after about 20 minutes. No error message, no nothing—it just vanishes. My PC doesn't even crash or shut down, it just sits there, but while I'm actually in the middle of a battle, I start seeing these little black dots—like pixel artifacts—dancing across my screen.

It’s like—whenever I’ve been running my rig for a decent stretch, say two or three hours, out of nowhere it starts making that sound—you know, that weird glitchy noise you get when a USB device disconnects? Then the screen just goes black for a few seconds, everything freezes up, and then *bam*, the sound cuts out again and the display kicks back in like nothing happened.

Look, I’m begging you guys—please, just give me a hand here. It feels like I’ve been shouting into a void because nobody has stepped up to help me with this thread yet. Here’s the link: Please!

My GPU is overheating.
Look, it’s pretty simple: either the fan on the card is dead, or maybe there isn't even a fan on this thing to begin with. Otherwise, the case is just acting like a sauna, or the whole setup is choked with dust.
