Over on FOX, they aired some footage showing the exact moment Kimi heads back onto the track, hits a bump, and everything just starts going sideways.

I mean, isn't it pretty obvious? He caught air over the drainage channel and it just kicked him hard to the right.

Word on Live 5 is that Kimi's right ankle might be looking a little banged up, though everything else seems to be holding steady.

We saw the same thing over here on our end too...
From what I could tell at the exact spot where Kimi was merging back in, there was this little imperfection in the pavement that just launched the whole car a few inches into the air.
Once that happened, there wasn't much anyone could do about it...
