How to prep a PDF for printing

Hey there.

I need some help. How do I turn a standard PDF into a "print-ready" version? I want to set everything up myself so I can save a file that’s ready to go—you know, like how they do it at a FedEx Office or Staples where you can fit multiple pages on one sheet (like a 2x2 layout). Is there a specific program or a website that does this? I've been searching through Google, but I can't figure out the right terminology to find what I'm looking for.

Well, when you go to print (just hit Ctrl+P), you usually have plenty of options right there. There should be a setting for "Pages per sheet" that lets you decide how many layouts you want on one page. Honestly, I don't think you even need a separate program.

So, when you hit up that CTRL + P menu, you'll see those options for single-sided versus double-sided printing, but if you've gone ahead and switched everything over to landscape mode, you absolutely have to make sure you manually select landscape along with the short edge binding setting, otherwise things get messy.
