Honestly, you really need to make sure your bike is properly locked down and anchored so it's physically impossible for anyone to just lift it up.

One really ought to secure the bike properly—anchor it so firmly that lifting it into a vertical position becomes an impossibility.

Excellent🙂, I might actually pick one up. It seems highly unlikely someone could hoist a bike vertically if it’s cinched to the frame with a heavy-duty U-lock.👍
