Which printer has the cheapest ink?

Which printer should I pick if I'm looking to keep ink costs down? I’m printing black and white about 95% of the time, so I don't need anything high-end for photo quality.

Check out laser printers first.
Then, look up how much the absolute cheapest generic toner cartridge costs.
Once you find that cartridge, check how much toner powder is actually inside it.
Compare two or three of those options.
It’s super easy to realize that what looks cheap at first glance might actually end up being way more expensive once you see you can get 100% or even 200% more pages for the exact same price elsewhere.

Basically, the "deal" you see upfront can easily turn out to be three times pricier than the competition.

So, once you've found the specific toner cartridge that gives you the most prints for your buck, THAT is when you go out and buy the printer that uses it.

Just a heads-up though—those units are refurbished and usually come bundled with two or three toners, because honestly, that's the only way the math makes sense in this market.

If you want a massive amount of prints for minimal cash, that's your only smart move. Anything else is just getting ripped off by big corporations.

keep in mind you gotta have 100% genuine ink in there. Since the CISS setup hooks right up to your actual cartridges, you can't mess with it.
