I was messing around with my advanced power settings and switched "allow hybrid sleep" to off. Now, for some reason, a hibernation option popped up right next to the shutdown button. 🤔

Well, it didn't happen after all. 🙂
I picked up a new USB adapter and now (at least initially) everything seems fine; my Wi-Fi works perfectly even after waking from sleep mode. I’m actually seeing five bars now instead of just three. 😁
The only thing I still don't get is why the fan shuts off sometimes during sleep, but other times stays running. If I hit sleep immediately, everything cuts out, but if I step away and come back... well, it’s hit or miss.
(I'm gonna flip that hybrid sleep setting back to ON and see if that's the culprit)

My screen just went black out of nowhere... a message popped up, but I only caught the word "AMD" before it vanished. It wasn't totally dark though, I could still see the taskbar at the bottom. I had no clue what to do, so I just hit restart. What else was I supposed to do?
It’s working for now, but I'm a little sketched out. Could that new adapter be the culprit?

Probably just a GPU driver crash.

So what's the verdict?
He just felt a little lightheaded and snapped out of it, so we're good... or is he actually unwell and I need to step up and find some medical help?
