I started this thread to avoid getting flagged for being off-topic—since this isn't just about a single disciplinary action, but involves several other points I need to address.
So, conspiracy theories... I assume you all realize that half of this sub's policy documents would need to be purged if we actually followed the "conspiracy theory" rule? It took me—all of two or three minutes, mind you—to track down two posts that meet the moderator KLCCLK’s definition of a conspiracy theory, even though they were nothing more than... Opinions? Just as they are—is that really all there is to say? Opinion? My perspective remains unchanged—though I suspect many here would prefer otherwise. Why even bother asking? My posts—or any other posts regarding the tear gas attack.
So, we’re looking at these posts—they're scattered across different threads, but they all fall under the umbrella of "conspiracy theories."
And those are merely two among hundreds—if not thousands—of others. Or are they?
I assume you moderators are well aware of how much people love to claim that MOST is just a puppet project for the Republican Party—but I haven't seen any of these conspiracy theories being shut down. Or have I simply poked the hornet's nest by commenting on the "wrong" topic?
Would I get banned if I posted that Joe Biden had his hands in this Sacha situation?
Pick a side already—what exactly is permitted here? Is it just specific topics labeled as conspiracy theories, or does this apply to everything? I shouldn't be getting banned for "trolling" simply because I point out things that seem suspicious in my posts.
KLCCLK The user said:And you just dive straight into the Sacha case—without a single shred of actual argument? If you're looking for conspiracy theories, just go check out the "Edge of Science" PDF.
Uncle Strile The user said:You claimed you said something and then immediately got slapped with a ban—that’s just criticizing the moderators. We all know exactly where to go if you want to appeal a penalty.
Your second outburst was nothing more than trolling—though you could have easily been flagged for off-topic comments.
