So, I was at the pharmacy picking up some meds a few days ago and got hit with a bit of a curveball—they told me my supplemental health insurance isn't active anymore. I'm currently a student, and if I remember correctly, my dad's company was covering that extra coverage until just a few months back. Now that's gone, though, I'm stuck wondering who's actually responsible for the bill moving forward. Does anyone know who I should reach out to if I want to get that coverage set up again?
Sorry if this belongs in a different thread.

http://www.medicare.gov/supplemental-insurance
If you need more details or have questions regarding Medicare supplemental insurance, they’re supposedly available to help here:

via phone at their toll-free number, 1-800-798-9
or by emailing supplemental-insurance@medicare.gov
I'm pretty sure you'll have to foot the bill yourself, but honestly, just reach out to them directly.

And you better make sure you actually have the money to cover it. I didn't, and I ended up with a wage garnishment $300. There were a few times when I tried to pay off the debt, but $150. The real issue is that those bastards set it up so that interest keeps piling up $3.00 every single day. Every single day...
I had no choice but to settle everything because some relentless notary is breathing down my neck for the cash.

Thanks for the advice. I finally managed to get everything sorted out with Medicare 🙂 🙂 🙂
