Well, I guess there’s always a glimmer of hope that the Danes might have an off day and just won't show up. Honestly, today's game was pretty solid, and if everything falls our way, maybe we could finally push past them and make it to the finals!

Honestly, we wouldn't have even made it out of the group stage without Duvnjak's performance.

The officiating was a mess again today... they handed us a gift by calling a breakaway goal for Schlesinger's when it wasn't even there, plus a penalty on Duvnjak's drive that was totally soft.
Meanwhile, they gifted the other side two penalties that were nowhere near legitimate, and then slapped us with two suspensions—one for Kopljar and one for Gojun—that didn't warrant it either...
What a disaster.

I know some people here are just trolling for the hell of it, but I’m being dead serious when I say our odds look pretty slim—I’d probably put it at 75/25... those Danes really remind me of how we played back when we hosted everything in 2009

Turns out I was right. The Poles completely blew it on themselves when they scored three goals in two minutes only to miss a penalty right after. 🤣

Anyway, Dom Duvnjak 🙏 is a beast, and he’s only 25. If he can actually maintain this pace until the end, mad respect, because he basically carried us every single game.

As for the Danes, they’re heavy favorites. They need to play with heart and not leave everything in the locker room before stepping out in front of thousands of people (not sure what the capacity of the arena is 🤣), like they did in New York City or Spain.

Mikkel Hansen didn't play today, so I don't think fatigue is going to be an issue for him.
