Translation help needed

Populate columns D and F with your translations—if you’re doing subtitles, just stack them into two lines where the first line hits column D and the second goes in column F.
Try to keep things tight and stay under that 32-character limit if you can.

And does this 32-character thing apply to both subtitles or just one line?

Character count actually dictates reading speed. If a subtitle is packed with text but flashes on screen too fast, the viewer won't finish it before the next one hits. That's why there's a limit on character spacing.
