I’m not going to bother with any long-winded introductions because, honestly, they don't really achieve anything anymore—we've seen this exact same cycle play out constantly over the last year since this group first got its structure set up.

But I have to admit, you all still find ways to catch me off guard every once in a while. 🙄🤣
Are we really at the point where people are trying to run wild over at Kokošinjac and dictate what can or can't be discussed over at Trach too?
It was obvious to everyone—heaven knows how long ago—that some of you had completely lost the plot, but a little bit of self-control wouldn't hurt anyone...

...otherwise, are we just heading toward another situation where we get a new moderator who decides, after six years of being here, that a certain topic is just too distasteful and shuts it down?
Did we just get assigned someone with a particularly thin skin?
Just a bit of unsolicited advice from an outsider: if you're too sensitive for certain types of work, maybe just don't take the job in the first place.☕

Honestly, it’s on us. We keep bringing in moderators whose every single move becomes an excuse for everyone to start some massive online brawl, even when they aren't doing anything significantly different from how things were run before. That's my two cents.

No corner of this forum has ever been left unmoderated, but clearly, that’s not going to be the case anymore. A topic like this being removed from every other part of the subforum was intentional, so moving forward, it’ll either be lightly moderated like it is now, or it won't exist at all.

In that case, you might as well just shut the whole thing down ☕

There’s really never been a precedent for moderating people dragging out jokes or making light of someone’s funeral, divorce, or attempted murder (anyone who’s been on this forum longer than you can probably recall 😍), or whatever else comes up.

I was just wondering why this specific part wasn't moved over to a different thread or why a new one hasn't been started? I mean, if the news media can report on cases like the Miller family and the Brave Child foundation, I don't see why we aren't allowed to comment on it here. 🤷

They really dragged poor little Norah through the mud, playing guessing games with her diagnoses, leaking "verified" info from the hospital, and even calculating how much longer she might have if she’d actually survived the surgery... 😢 And it wasn't just her; they treated her family with that same level of disrespect. You don't even need to be a parent to realize how absolutely disgusting this behavior is—honestly, even on Tracey, you should at least show a shred of dignity. I truly don't think I need to go into detail here or get into a whole argument about it.
