This is absolutely absurd!
Both believers and the gay community are being insulted here, yet some people seem blissfully unaware!
I am formally requesting that Amelia be met with the strictest possible disciplinary action, because, in my estimation, Lourdes is a far milder slight than that particular homophobic slur.
Lourdes is a perfectly decent term; she didn't resort to any vulgarities or anatomical profanity. ON THE OTHER HAND, the word that slur is inherently offensive—it’s essentially an intensified version of an already derogatory term.
In technical terms, it's a hyper-insult.
Furthermore, I request that all instances of ad hominem, ad hoc, and ad acta insults be dealt with within this thread and across all other topics, especially those masquerading as argumentum....
