Horner absolutely nailed it. Based on what we’ve seen so far, I honestly thought Nibali would only try one big move right at the finish line. It turns out Horner is just way better at maintaining a punishing, steady pace. To me, it looked like Nibali burned himself out by attacking way too often, while Horner didn't even blink—he knew he could just crush him by keeping that tempo rock solid. In the end, Nibali had to pay the price for all those anaerobic bursts. But hey, it's easy to be a genius after the race is over, right? 🙄
