I don't know how to explain this

So, here’s the situation: I picked up a second monitor today, and I’m running into this weird issue that I can’t even begin to explain properly. It’s such a subtle, nagging problem that I’m honestly not even sure how to frame the question here.

Basically, the icons on my primary monitor are bleeding off the bottom edge of the screen—you can't see the text or any of those little details.
If I just drag those same icons over to the second monitor, everything looks perfectly fine and displays exactly as it should.

To give you some context on my setup: the main monitor is its own independent display, while the second monitor is set to "duplicate" mode so the image mirrors onto my TV. So, I have two monitors and a TV all hooked up to one PC.

I’ve attached a photo so you can see what I mean. Honestly, I’m a bit embarrassed because I feel like I’m struggling to articulate what’s actually happening or even what I should be asking.

I honestly don't even know how to start searching for this on Google because I have no clue what keywords to even type in, LOL

Either move those icons up one line or just set the taskbar to auto-hide—you know, that setting where it stays out of the way until you hover your mouse over it...

Isn't there a sane way to fix this? I am literally missing just one single line of code,
when I shift everything up by one line, there is this massive, gaping void at the bottom. It is driving me absolutely insane because I’ve become one of those people who needs everything perfectly aligned and pixel-perfect to my liking. LOL

Maybe try resizing those icons... they look a bit oversized to me. Try right-clicking on the desktop and using Ctrl + scroll. I'm not entirely sure if that shortcut is supported on Windows 7, but it definitely works on Windows 8 and 10. Hopefully, that does the trick for you.

Resizing didn't do a single thing to help. I even tried that trick from the link where you drop the resolution and then crank it back up to see if it fixes itself, but it seems like some weird glitch inherent to Windows 7

Honestly, at this rate, I might just jump off a building xD

I moved my icons up by one row so they’re actually visible, but now there's all this massive empty space at the bottom of the screen. It's driving me absolutely insane because I'm so used to everything being flush against the edge

And for some reason, the system won't let me keep the Recycle Bin tucked away in the bottom right corner, haha 😢 😢 😢

What a ridiculous workaround, LOL. I can't believe anyone would even think of that.

EDIT - Actually, never mind. Now I’ve got a whole different issue because of that fix, xDD. It’s like, whenever I try to move my cursor from one screen to the other, it won't transition at the same level like it should. Instead, when I slide over to the second monitor, it jumps about an inch higher than where I left it. LOL xD I’m basically going to end up shooting myself in the foot here.
