I’d really appreciate it if the admins would take a look at this thread:
http://www.reddit.com/showthread.php?p...4#post46110074
Since you guys have the ability to see deleted posts, you should check this out—what's happening in there has completely spiraled out of control. We're seeing insults, threats, and people actually cheering on those inciting racial hatred and pure chauvinism, yet it all just gets wiped away without any actual consequences. It feels like the moderators are actively protecting the rule-breakers instead of enforcing the standards of this site, or even the laws of the US...

🤣
The admins really need to scroll through this thread. Especially the last ten pages or so. Take Nice, for example.
But since we're all hanging out here, why'd you guys go ahead and delete my last post?
Absolute joke...

You haven't reported a single post, nor have you actually shared one here.

Once you actually do one of those things, we can move forward.

Are you an admin or something?
No? Then why don't you just go back to where you came from...

This whole PDF thread has basically turned into a massive dumping ground for people to vent their personal grudges over every little "unfairness" they think is happening to them.

Reporting posts is honestly a waste of breath because the subtext is pretty obvious:
"We need to let our own people blow off steam however they want so our side stays loud and proud, even if they have to resort to the most low-life, gutter-tier insults to do it."

Just look at these unpunished posts from the thread starter:
http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=4...&postcount=301

http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=4...&postcount=393

And then you'll hear them argue that the mods are being "lenient" during game days compared to this stuff. 🙄

Here’s what one of the moderators actually said:
http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=4...&postcount=398

Furthermore:
http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=4...&postcount=448

I reported this specific post myself, but absolutely nobody did anything:
http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=4...postcount=4195

Anyway, there's plenty more where that came from, but the picture is clear. The mods are just gonna ban anyone who dares to disagree with them while letting their buddies talk as dirty as they want.

So, if you actually value your sanity, my advice is to just stay far away from this PDF. ☕

There’s no point in reporting posts since the underlying message is obvious:
"We have to let our own people vent their frustrations so our voice stays loud and clear, regardless of how many low-brow, primitive insults they throw around in the process."

Our job is to protect this community from insults, which is what we do. As for the bottom-feeders who are tearing this country and society apart, we aren't about to protect them.

So, we have these entries that went unpunished—the thread author:
http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=4...&postcount=301

Since Mr. Jurcic isn't a member of this forum, he doesn't count as an insult to the users, so we have no grounds to penalize our fellow member.

http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=4...&postcount=393

And then there will be arguments about how moderation is more lenient during games. 🙄

Just like the previous example—people get heated, and obviously, they say all sorts of things during a game. It's not pleasant to read, honestly, but it doesn't get penalized either.

This is how one moderator puts it:
http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=4...&postcount=398

The colleague is just human, and given everything that came before, you can't really blame him.

Furthermore:
http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=4...&postcount=448

Again... not our concern.

I reported this post, but nothing happens:

I'll say it again—it isn't our job to protect someone who isn't even a member here. I’m going to check in with the admins regarding this whole business of mentioning a former member.

Basically, there's more where that came from, and it's all pretty obvious. The mods will just ban anyone whose opinion clashes with their own, while letting their buddies get away with being "edgy."

So, if you actually value your sanity, I’d suggest staying far away from that PDF from now on. ☕

Look, anyone interested in that PDF knows emotions run high—especially after stuff like what happened yesterday. Nobody watches a Lakers game expecting a quiet night at the theater, and we aren't going to demand the forum stays that polite during game time either. Unfortunately, we can't please everyone.

http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=4...&postcount=301

http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=4...&postcount=393

Then you'll just hear people arguing that the mods are being "softer" on things during actual game days. 🙄

Even a moderator wrote something like this:

So, if you actually value your sanity, my advice is to just stay far away from that PDF in the future... ☕

👍
I really hope the admins take a look at this thread since they can actually see the deleted posts. The mods lost all credibility a long time ago. They systematically wipe out posts from anyone they disagree with and hand out bans like candy. Basically, every single thread about the Lakers ends up the same way. Any dissenting voices are cut down immediately, users are labeled as trolls and banned, so the inner circle just does whatever they want. And now this hypocritical guy from the football side shows up demanding "proof," after he already scrubbed a mountain of the worst insults without handing out any penalties???
If it weren't tragic, it would be hilarious. Claiming to fight against Mamić, yet turning this sub-forum into an even worse mess than Mamić's Lakers...🙂

So you're siding with the guy who’s actually complaining about your posts... fine by me.

Basically, there was just a misunderstanding between us—I thought you were venting about what was left on the thread, not what got deleted. As far as that goes, we moderated the topic however we saw fit, though the admins above us can step in and fix things if they want.

Reddit Rules:

The TL;DR version
Basically, all our rules boil down to this: Don't be a jerk to others, just like you wouldn't want them being jerks to you. Cut out the fighting and the insults, and actually try to contribute something useful to the community.

Look, this isn't about whether you feel like defending people who aren't even part of this site or not. It's about trying to maintain a semi-decent, chill vibe here on Reddit, which clearly isn't happening in the cases we're looking at right now.

People are out here calling each other pieces of trash and lowlifes—is that supposed to be normal? Is that really the kind of way people talk if they want to keep things friendly among users?

Anyway, you stated your points pretty clearly, so if that's how you feel, then stick to it. I'm just laying out my own take on the whole mess, so take it or leave it.

Look, as far as you're concerned, there was just a misunderstanding. I thought you were venting about what was left standing in the thread, not what got scrubbed out. Regarding the deletions, we moderated the thread based on our best judgment, and the higher-ups can step in and fix things if they feel like it.

Let him complain about my posts. Honestly, I couldn't care less about the points I rack up through my contributions. The real issue here is the lack of objectivity, the bias, and the blatant double standards in how this place is moderated. Every single thread involving the Lakers turns into an unreadable pile of garbage dedicated to Mamić, served with a side of unchecked insults directed at anyone who disagrees. I really wish someone unbiased—someone like Nica—would go read that other topic, because it’s basically a carbon copy of every Lakers thread on this site. If the administration thinks this kind of moderator behavior is acceptable, then fine.🤷 At least now we know where we stand outside of the wolf pack.

The real issue here is how biased and hypocritical this whole moderation setup is—it’s pure double standards. Every single thread involving the Lakers turns into an unreadable pile of garbage because everyone just goes straight to bashing Mamić. Honestly, I wish someone totally unbiased, like Anthony Jackson2, would take a look at that specific topic, because it's basically a perfect microcosm of how every Lakers discussion on this site goes down. But hey, if the admins think this kind of lopsided moderation is totally fine, then whatever.🤷 At least we finally know where we stand outside the wolf pack.

Look, would you actually want someone calling you a washed-up horse or some kind of freakish ant-monster? It’s just straight-up trash behavior to be posting stuff like that on Reddit.

I’m totally with you that there’s a massive double standard going on here, even if trying to police this whole mess isn't exactly a walk in the park.

I was the first one to step up and suggest we set up some kind of Education Hub over there, just so the basic facts could finally be laid out in black and white, you know? Maybe then people would actually stop tripping over the obvious. Just a bunch of potential trolls looking to stir the pot. Look, we seriously need to get a much clearer picture of what's actually going down here.

Look, the whole thing is just a total clusterfuck, exactly like you said in the title.

Not at all. The mods deleted those posts. This sports sub is definitely more laid back—it’s fan territory, so you hear some rougher language directed at public figures—but there are still lines you don't cross. Calling someone an idiot or a moron might fly, but the heavy-duty insults and hateful slurs? That's where we draw the line.

I honestly can't help but chuckle at this one! It’s like someone just threw a random thought out there, but I love the energy. A "stupid anteater"? That is such an absurdly funny mental image! Just imagine a little guy wandering around, completely missing his mark, looking totally confused by his own existence. It's pure comedy gold. Honestly, some days I feel like that anteater myself!

crimsonpuma23 said:Look, would you actually enjoy being called a brainless horse or some kind of freak? Of course not. That kind of stuff shouldn't be allowed on Reddit.

I agree that there’s a massive double standard happening here, even if keeping this whole place under control isn't easy.

I was actually the one who first suggested setting up an educational section—somewhere to lay out the basic rules in black and white. Maybe then potential trolls would actually understand what's going on.

As it stands, the whole thing is just pure chaos, exactly like you said in your title.

Call me whatever you want. There’s always going to be tension, rushed posts, and insults. The real issue is that some people get punished while others get a free pass when they join in on the collective meltdown against anyone who doesn't think exactly like that narrow-minded group of incompetent amateurs. And don't even get me started on the trolling. Every single thread about the Lakers gets trashed by a mob obsessed with Mamić. What’s even the point of starting a discussion about Lakers games when everything just devolves into trolling and banning anyone with a different opinion?
Pathetic.

We won't take what's theirs, and we won't give up our own! 🙂 That's the "groupthink" for you. ☕

Yeah, I totally agree, they go way overboard calling out anyone who doesn't jump through their hoops. "You're a Mamić supporter, you're Satan, you're poison, you're trash..."

It's basically either you're one of us or you're against us—there is no middle ground... 🤷

And what are we supposed to do? Just sit there and shut up while people refuse to do more than sit quietly and comment on Mamić's personal life while he ruins everything they care about? Would you really just sit there clapping while someone violates something you actually love?

Ryan Vaughn7 said:I mean, seriously, just look at this photo. Does anyone else feel like they’re staring directly into the soul of a masterpiece, or am I just being overly dramatic today? It’s one of those images that hits you right in the gut before you even have a chance to process what you’re actually seeing, isn't it? There is something about the composition here that feels almost too intentional, as if every single shadow was placed there specifically to mess with my head. Is it just me, or does this capture a certain kind of mood that most people would completely overlook? Honestly, I could spend the next hour just dissecting the lighting alone, because why does it feel so much more profound than anything else on my feed today?

I honestly can’t decide if I should be impressed or just plain baffled by this video, because there isn't much middle ground left in this world, is there? You sit down, expecting maybe a bit of mindless entertainment to kill ten minutes before dinner, and instead, you're hit with something that makes you question everything you thought you knew about how things work around here. Is it art? Is it a social experiment gone rogue? Or is it just one of those moments where someone decided to see exactly how far they could push the envelope before the whole thing falls apart? It’s wild, really, how much can be packed into such a short runtime, leaving you staring at the screen for a few seconds afterward, wondering if anyone else actually caught that subtle detail halfway through, or if I’m just overanalyzing things like I always do.
