So, which power supply did you end up grabbing? I really hope you went with something solid—not one of those cheap pieces of junk that claims to be 630W but actually can't even hit 50% of its rated capacity when things get heavy. As for the connector layout, that shouldn't really be an issue...

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that set you back?

Paid about 70 bucks for it. It’s definitely not a power supply issue. I’ve already swapped it out with a 420W, a 550W, and even a 630W unit just to be sure. I even stripped everything down until it was just the CPU cooler sitting there. Same exact result. BIOS sees the DVD drive just fine, though.

I don't think you have much to worry about—it’s probably just an issue with the roaster itself...

Update the coffee maker's firmware.

Still haven't cracked this problem. Every time I download the firmware and try to run the installer, the motherboard just loses the DVD drive entirely. Nothing happens. No progress, nothing. I read somewhere that if the installation gets interrupted, you might lose the drive for good, but honestly, it’s still working just fine like it was before🤔. I even tried an ATA-to-SATA adapter and swapped out two different ports, but the motherboard won't recognize them at all🙂. So, looks like tomorrow I'll have to🤔 pick up a new drive
