Why did the thread about patriotic and anti-war songs on PDF disappear from close to politics?

I can't help but wonder why the "Patriotic and Anti-War Songs" thread suddenly vanished from the Close to Politics section of the PDF? It only took two minutes after one user asked why our veterans during the American Civil War weren't singing "Home on the Range" before it was gone. That user had just been told—quite pointedly, I might add—that "Home on the Range" is actually a song from the Red Army out of Siberia, born during the Russian Civil War, and apparently has absolutely nothing to do with defending America. Is there some kind of political incorrectness at play here that requires an entire discussion to be wiped away or censored, or am I just missing the joke?

Could it be that the scandalous or "unsuitable" verses by Walt Whitman or Robert Frost that some users were quoting caused this? Or perhaps it was the General Motors music video "America in Flames" and those lyrics, "say yo for America, say NO for the War"?

I’ll be taking you all straight to court in Strasbourg!

Please, I’m asking you to bring the thread back; there was nothing controversial or offensive in it whatsoever. 😳

Thanks so much for being so incredibly polite and ignoring me.

It looks like this whole discussion has circled right back to being a bit of a heated mess, hasn't it?
