Maybe you accidentally tweaked a setting in your antivirus or firewall and now it's blocking the morning update.

Unbelievable.

It won't work on my two home PCs either, just like at the office.
I actually just tried using Internet Explorer (even though I usually stick to Chrome) while at work, but no luck.
It just sits there saying "Connecting..." and waits forever.

Honestly pretty weird, you wouldn't even believe it. I was convinced something was broken.

edit: the only thing I noticed regarding The New York Times is that the page was actually down while I was casually opening it in my browser 😁, but otherwise, everything should be working fine

Man, I’ve been having such a rough time lately—Opera isn't doing anything for me on my phone, and honestly, Chrome on my desktop has been totally dead for days now too.

Sorry if you’re having a hard time getting onto our site right now. We're working on it. The New York Times. Looks like we've been getting hammered by hackers since Saturday. Look, we’re doing everything we can to get this sorted out ASAP so you guys can get back to browsing the site without any more headaches.
