Roger Wright94 said:Look, hoping for something—that’s fine.
But honestly, what exactly gives you reason to expect more from him than anyone else on the grid?
Douglas Adams15 said:And I expect to see you flying off the track at one of the turns near Turanj/Tušolović.🙂
One shouldn't joke about things like that...
I mean, what if someone said they expected Senna to go down at Tamburell?🙂
Just cultists and jokers.🤦 🤦 🤦
On another note, FP3 was actually quite interesting.☕

I suppose I should step in and defend the President as well... certain things aren't meant to be trifled with, especially when it comes to matters of karma and consequence.

Emily Patel64 said:man, Kmecko
Even back then, those times didn't really show much unless you had an empty track all to yourself on the final lap...
Anyway, Kmecko topped FP3 🙏👍
Glad to see Markec finally woke up from his nap.😁

Roger Wright94 said:The US Grand Prix doesn't demand pole position for the winner. You can actually overtake there, so starting position isn't everything.
Well, I have to disagree... I tend to lean toward the other perspective. If you are driving a top-tier machine like a Ferrari, shouldn't you want that front-row spot rather than fighting through the pack only to end up caught in a collision at the first turn?
Leading the pack means driving in clean air, which is undoubtedly the most effective way to manage tire degradation...
Red Bull seems to have sorted out their speed trap issue as well, though one can only hope we aren't staring down the barrel of total dominance for the rest of the season.🤔

Douglas Adams15 As requested:
Just a quick observation on that too. Plačko. I'd have to step in and defend this one... there are certain things you just don't joke about. Karma and all that.
Say hi to Emily Patel64 for me when she stops by. 😁

When Plan A fails, you move to Plan B. Simple as that. Why struggle with what isn't working? 😉

Jason Campbell70 said:Good luck to you when Emily Patel64 shows up. 😁
One moves to Plan B only when Plan A has proven itself entirely ineffective. 😉
And here they are, boasting aerodynamics at an enviable level; they truly are the best in that department and deserve nothing less than a tip of the hat. I find myself genuinely curious, however: have they sacrificed any of that aerodynamic edge now that they have finally managed to rectify their outright pace?

Ignoring all the biased fanboying and those "prophetic" provocations floating around, I’m expecting top-tier performance from FI. Maybe all those little hints and flashes we saw in the previous races will finally click into place.
What's the deal with rain during qualifying? Is it staying dry, or...

The track isn't quite tacky yet—the crew is heading out on slicks to see if they can scrape together whatever grip is left out there.

A light drizzle and some oily tracks.
Things might get interesting. 🍿
EDIT - actually, they won't. Switching to intermediates. 😁
