Buying stuff without a credit card?

Hey everyone... quick question—is it actually possible to go into a store and buy something, like a watch, without having the physical card on me? I mean, I’ve got the account number and the PIN and everything.
I’m asking because my grandma lives pretty far away and she wants to pick out a nice watch for me. She actually sent over her card info—you know, the account number and the PIN. Is that even a thing you can do?

Why wouldn't your grandma just wire the cash straight to your account? 🍿

Or maybe they just ship the card via USPS Certified Mail or something? I mean, you get yours on the same day, so it's probably super fast.
