The Bling Ring (2013)

Man, this is almost as bad as Spring Breakers...

In my opinion, this was one of the worst movies released all year. It felt like someone just took a bunch of random clips and cobbled them together for a cheap FOX tabloid segment. A total 2/10—completely hollow and an insult to anyone's intelligence...

Spring Breakers is an ironic, gutsy, and timely piece of cinema, though it occasionally veers into being overblown and ultimately fails to quite reach the heights of its own ambitions.
The Bling Ring is quite simply a poorly conceived film from a director who bears a striking resemblance to her subjects: she lives in an ivory tower, completely detached from the realities of the actual world.

I just finished watching it—it was alright, I guess, though maybe a little childish for my taste. 😁 It’s hard to expect much more when most of the cast, besides Emma, were born around '94 or '95 anyway. 😬

I mean, what else is there to say besides🙂
