I don't give a damn about them.🙂
Honestly, if I wasn't working with them, I probably wouldn't even grab a coffee with any of them in my life.🙂You know?

Joseph Gomez39 said:If my last name was Tutle, would I be considered a fool too?
I can't speak for Tutle, but I definitely know about Mrs. Tumpek.🙂 I remember when I was nine, going with my dad to get my orthopedic shoes fitted; we had to wait behind this woman, Mrs. Tumpek.😳 I couldn't stop laughing at that name the whole way home.😂

Honestly, if I didn't have to deal with them, I wouldn't grab a coffee with any of them if my life depended on it.🙂 You know?
True, 🙂
Would you actually want to change your name to Tumpek? 🤣

The directory didn't turn up the surname Tumpak either. It’s definitely Tumpak, just like I suspected... there are plenty of people with that name in my neck of the woods
Rachel Palmer56, are there many people with that last name out your way?

Joseph Gomez39 said:The online directory didn't pull up the surname Easter. It actually showed Tumpak, which is what I was worried about. I run into people with that name all the time locally.
Rachel Palmer56, you got many folks with that name around your way?
Names like Smith, Johnson, or Miller are everywhere... but I don't know about that one.🤷

Rachel Palmer56, do you have any Tumpaks in your area?

It’s easy for you to say when you don't have to worry about making a living... how can you even joke about something like that?

They should just change the holidays already.🙂

And why on earth would I care?
If people aren't hurting anyone just by making a living, then I don't see the problem. Personally, I’ve dealt with plenty of people teasing me and making jokes about my last name and all its different variations, but it honestly doesn't bother me one bit. It’s a little unconventional, sure, but that’s kind of what makes it interesting... It isn't some hateful slur like those insults they throw around during Easter... They used to call people those nasty names back then too

If people don't mind how someone's last name sounds, who cares? People mess with me all the time because of my surname and all its weird variations. It doesn't bother me. It’s just a little unusual, which is kind of fun. It's not like actual insults during Easter. They used to call people names back then, too.
Yours isn't even that weird🤷

This weather is seriously getting under my skin 🙂 and honestly, I’ve been driving myself crazy just as much as the clouds have, both today and yesterday 🙂

It’s really not all that surprising, though I know there are plenty of ways people try to joke around with it. Personally, I feel nothing but pride when it comes to him. You can find us scattered all over the globe, mixed in with all sorts of different backgrounds... even way out in places like Scotland. It’s a noble lineage, truly. Their whole motto was always about those who strive for greatness. At the end of the day, I just know we aren't some newcomers to this land, but rather an old, established family. We have surnames that you won't find anywhere else in America, names that belong solely to us. There are still so many of us out there who are direct descendants of the same bloodline, much like that woman from your neck of the woods...

I honestly don't get half of this stuff either. Are we both just totally lost...
