So, some girl reached out regarding my ad, but I'm totally stuck—I can't even send her a reply because it says she's got her private messages turned off.
There isn't any contact info listed on her profile either—no Skype, no email, nothing... just a dead end. If an admin could just pass along a message to her, that would be great.

Are we talking about our PDF?

I suppose I am asking because you mentioned the ads.

If that is the case, please let me know her handle so I can send her a message. 😈

...Grace Kim80, you won't be able to pull that off,
if the user has their DMs locked down,
only an admin can reach out to them...

I don't think even the admin can just do it; they’d have to enable incoming transfers first before actually sending anything. 😬

I honestly feel like that’s exactly why the whole exclusion process exists because if someone clearly doesn't want to take on the role of PM, then they just don't want to be the PM! 🤷

Yeah, I just noticed that something isn't quite right here.

The moderators were actually able to send private messages even when the option to receive them was disabled. 🤷

...look, if things are actually hitting the fan and it’s a total emergency, just slap down a yellow custom warning without any points for a one-hour duration,
and instead of typing out some long-winded explanation, just leave a quick note so the moderators know exactly where to head...

The mischievous loneraven25 😬

I honestly never would have guessed that!

I suppose I should ask, though—would that actually violate the rules? Part of me wants to just forward his email directly to her right this second, but still...

🤷

...from a purely tactical standpoint, the ends justify the means, 😬
maybe later we can ask Alice to clear that yellow warning from my record,
but honestly, that’s only worth doing if there was actually a good reason for the rush in the first place...

Alice should just drop that yellow warning,

Do you write poetry in your spare time? 🤣

I tried reaching out to Alice, but she isn't online right now 😢

Nothing to be done, I suppose I'll just wait a bit longer...

Sorry I was MIA, but I'm back now! 🙂

Just a heads-up: users might still receive messages from administrators even if they've toggled that setting off. I'm going to lock this topic for now, though—let's move all further discussions regarding this over to private messages with the original poster and Meadow.
