Living with Pulmonary Fibrosis

So, the headline caught my eye and now I’m curious. Everything I’ve read so far looks pretty bleak, which honestly left me feeling a bit shaken. I want to hear what you guys actually think—any real-world experiences to share? How are we even supposed to handle this better?

I just found out someone close to me was diagnosed with this, and honestly, I’m reeling. 😢

Looking at how old this thread is, you're better off hunting down the top specialists who actually know how to manage this condition.

Looking at this thread now and considering her age... your best bet is to find the top specialists who can actually manage this condition.

Mayo Clinic is the premier facility.
They should have approved some newer medications under Medicare coverage by now.
Unfortunately, some patients require a transplant. They perform them at Johns Hopkins Hospital now; they used to send people to Germany for that. So far, about 10 transplants have been done in New York City.
