Honestly, I’m also planning to ditch the pills. I’ve only got three left in the pack. I'm just hoping—fingers crossed—that I won't end up pregnant, that my mood stays steady instead of dipping into depression, and that my libido actually kicks back in... oh, and maybe even drop a few pounds while I'm at it! I don't think I'm asking for too much, right? 😁

Just wanted to share my experience. I spent 10 years on Logitech, and for those same 10 years, I struggled with depression—really heavy stuff. About seven months ago, circumstances forced me to stop taking that crap, and honestly, the changes caught me completely off guard:
- the depression just vanished
- my migraines disappeared too
- my ragweed allergies dropped by about 80%. It was basically nonexistent; I didn't even need steroids except for a two-week stretch, and even then, I mostly just ignored it.
- I haven't caught a single cold since, and I used to be incredibly sickly... plus, my energy levels are through the roof compared to before.
- my libido is significantly stronger

You have to be careful with that stuff. It hits your mind and body way too hard, which isn't exactly a good thing. For me, losing the depression made life feel colorful again, and I’d honestly accepted that the darkness was just part of who I was forever. Part of me would take those pills again just to get that relief back, but given everything else... they aren't worth it anymore.

About seven months ago, circumstances forced me to stop taking that junk, and the shifts I’ve experienced have been nothing short of startling:
- My depression just... vanished.
- The migraines stopped entirely.
- My ragweed allergies dropped by about 80%; I barely even noticed them, and I didn't need to rely on corticosteroids except for a tiny two-week window where I was mostly just overreacting to the sniffles.
- I haven't caught a single cold since, which is wild considering I used to be the type of person who got sick if someone so much as breathed near me. Plus, my energy levels are through the roof compared to how they used to be.
- My libido has seen a significant boost.

You really have to be careful with this stuff; it hits your psyche and your physical body way too hard, which is definitely not a good thing. For me, losing that depressive fog felt like someone finally turned the lights back on in my life, and honestly, I had resigned myself to the idea that darkness was just my permanent reality. Part of me would jump right back on those pills if it weren't for other factors, but looking at the trade-off now, they just aren't worth it anymore.

I realize this post is pretty old, but I’ve been on Logitech for three years now, and about two years ago, I hit my first major depressive episode. Now, I deal with at least one episode every single year that lasts anywhere from a week or two to much longer; during those times, it feels like there’s absolutely no way out. It’s not even that things are going wrong in my life, it just hits me out of nowhere, and I can't help but wonder if it's the birth control... During that first year, everything was fine—zero side effects (I actually started taking them because my periods were incredibly heavy and painful). In the beginning, it actually helped, but now I'm right back where I started. Everything just wears me down. My PMS kicks in two weeks before my period, and the depression gets so intense that I feel completely lost. I'm lucky enough to have the best boyfriend in the world who sticks by me, even though there are moments when my anxiety and depression make me feel so volatile that I can't even look him in the eye. I'm just spiraling and don't know what to do. Should I try switching brands, or what? I have an appointment with my OB-GYN tomorrow, so we'll see. Anyway, I just needed to vent and hunt for any possible reason why I'm feeling this way, and I stumbled upon this thread... Best, 🙂

Up until this year, I’d start feeling the PMS hit about two weeks out. I’d be super moody—honestly, bordering on depressed at times—but I just chalked it up to life being stressful, you know? Now it feels more like the pill just cranks whatever mood I'm already in up to an eleven. I didn't even take any breaks or anything; the whole thing just kind of leveled out on its own. Things are fine now, though I definitely feel a bit more sensitive during that window. The biggest giveaway is that two-week warning sign where my cravings go absolutely feral—I need everything sweet and salty all at once. Once the actual period hits, though, my appetite totally vanishes; I can barely manage three bites of food all day after basically inhaling everything in sight leading up to it. 🙂I can't even trust my own good moods anymore, because the day before... yeah, I become a total monster.

I tried taking Yaz, or whatever the name is, and it was a disaster for me. I dealt with spotting and major depression—just straight-up awful moods. I also tried Yasmin, but it made me feel physically sick, so I eventually just circled back to Diane.

So, I was popping Triquilar for like a year and a half because my period cramps were absolutely killing me, but man, that stuff totally wrecked my mood. I became this incredibly irritable, aggressive mess—just constantly on edge. Once I finally realized I couldn't live like that anymore and quit, I actually felt like a normal human being again.

Man, that stuff absolutely wrecked me under the Lindanet pills—it was brutal! Everything finally settled down once I quit taking them, too. I honestly couldn't believe how hard they hit me. Even taking something like Triquilar didn't do me any favors; I just ended up dealing with constant nausea...

Honestly, taking three quadrillion wouldn't have even made me nauseous, and I didn't gain a single ounce—my curves stayed exactly where they were, my face looked the same, but man, it absolutely wrecked my nerves. It all hit a breaking point when I just snapped at my mom and my ex for no reason at all; I was smashing plates and slamming doors like I was having a total mental breakdown. It was awful! Just pure, unadulterated aggression. You seriously can't believe how intensely
hits you.
