I think I read just one review like that, maybe from some guy at Rolling Stone, but I'm not entirely sure. From what I've gathered, pretty much everyone was more or less happy, haha
Unfortunately, I didn't make it to Terrane, but my friends were there and they were absolutely thrilled. They said they sound exactly like the record, if not even better.^^

At Terrane, reactions ranged from people going "they fucking killed it" to me and a few others who felt it was a total snoozefest 😁 just incredibly boring (one friend who’s a fan was stoked, though some other fans seemed totally meh)

I guess I'll go check them out just to see how they handle this kind of setting; maybe they aren't cut out for outdoor festivals. I really should revisit their albums, because my memory of the second one is stuck being this bad, dull thing. I have no idea how this new stuff will land. Plus, we'll get to see the opening act.

Man... feels a bit like some Dandy Warhols subversion to me..

I’ve been spinning them almost every night before bed for the last month, even if it's just one or two tracks to drift off to. It's like I knew they were coming. I caught them at Terrane back in 2011, but I wasn't really a fan back then, so I didn't quite feel it. Now? I can't wait. For some reason, I've had 'Basic Space' on repeat lately; it just hits right.
