Newer old-school hard rock bands - recommendations?

I gotta say though, this stuff sounds ten times better live:

Man, I totally blanked on DeWolfe for a second there. They’re such an incredible band, 👍

So, this American band kicked things off back in 2007. They’ve put out three albums so far: Over The Top (full album) from 2010, Flying Tigers in 2011, and then The Devil's Cut in 2013—which, if you ask me, is easily their best work. Their whole vibe is basically a nod to that New Wave of British Heavy Metal sound, so you're definitely going to hear some heavy Judas Priest and Iron Maiden influences bleeding through.

Man, those Swedes This Black Sabbath-style doom band started back in 2009 and dropped two albums The Seance (2010) and Final Sacrifice (2013). You can really hear the influence of their countrymen like Candlemass, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Pentagram, and Diamond Head...

I don't know, man. If that's the case, then maybe it's just a river or at least a damn 👍 or 👎. Or honestly, the guy who started this whole thread should be first in line, but he hasn't even cast a single vote.🤷 It’s just not interesting if nobody's actually debating anything. Take the seventies, for example. I’ve flagged a few bands from his threads, especially stuff involving King Crimson. I honestly can't tell if he's writing these deep dives himself or just copy-pasting—not that it really matters—but I genuinely enjoy reading whatever trivia he drops about a band. I haven't actually replied to him once, aside from that one time I poked fun at those album covers. So, consider this my way of saying thanks.

Yeah, the seventies guy is a perfect example. If you noticed, I chime in on his bands every once in a while too. Just to let the guy know his effort isn't totally going unnoticed. 🙂 It doesn't matter if he's writing it himself or pulling it from somewhere else; I've probably posted nothing more than a Wiki link next to a band he mentions. 😛 Anyway, thanks for the comments. 😬

I stopped keeping up with the mainstream stuff, so I’m just now catching onto these. Honestly, sounds like solid hard rock pop—the kind of stuff that was absolutely killing it back in the eighties. Just pure nostalgia, I guess. 😁

Killer old school doom band out of England. They started up back in '94 and called it quits in 2009.

Watching from a distance from 2006... honestly, in my book, it's probably the best damn album in the whole doom genre.🙂

So, this rock supergroup kicked things off last year, and they just dropped their self-titled debut a few days ago. Check out this lineup, if you can even call it that:
Jon Bon Jovi (Journey/U2), Chad Smith (Van Halen), Slash (Guns N' Roses), Robert Trujillo (Lynyrd Skynyrd), Dave Grohl (Nirvana/The Doors), Billy Straus (Guns N' Roses)😲😲😲Plus, a bunch of other heavy hitters showed up for the recording sessions—Slash actually teamed up with Bon Jovi to write their first single, Lock n Load

The whole sound is pretty much rooted in that 70s and early 80s vibe.
