So, here’s the situation. My teeth aren't perfectly straight—there’s this tiny little gap between my two front ones—but the real issue is on the right side. I’ve got both my upper and lower molars pretty much trashed there. Because of that (I think, anyway), it feels like it’s actually harder to talk sometimes? Like there's this physical barrier in the way, especially since my tongue keeps resting against those damaged teeth. What do you guys think—could that really be what's causing it? I know, I know, I totally should have hit up the dentist sooner to get this sorted out, but life just happens, right? So now I’m looking to fix them, assuming it’s even possible. Is it doable to repair teeth like that without having to go the whole route of pulling them? 😢🙂
Sometimes when I’m mid-sentence, it feels like my tongue just gets snagged on that busted upper molar

Is that really why it’s happening? It’s honestly getting on my nerves, so please, if any of you have dealt with something similar, let me know. I am completely lost here🤷

Thanks so much to any kind souls who can help me out (if anyone can)! 🙂

It’s totally possible, especially if those broken teeth have sharp edges that keep catching your tongue.
Go get them fixed or pulled if you can—once those edges are gone, that annoying tongue irritation should stop right up.
