Honestly, if you ask me, those partial elections for history and TV are just a total waste of time. Meanwhile, you’ve got some guy like BP-severni constantly trolling the other sports subforums—specifically tennis—and everyone just sits there and lets him get away with it. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I actually went back and answered a few of those old threads for you a little while ago.

A partial ban isn't just handed out because someone felt like it. Before mods even consider a partial ban, they usually drop warnings, issue strikes, or straight-up ban users and scrub posts to prevent things from escalating. It’s typically the end of the line after we've put up with someone's nonsense for a long time.

Once a request for a partial ban comes in, the admins check the user's track record before making the final call.

Before anyone even asks for a partial ban, the mods usually give warnings, issue strikes, or just straight-up ban people and wipe their posts if they think things are heading south. It usually happens after they've put up with someone's crap for a long, long time.

Once the request for a partial ban is actually made, the admins check out the user's history and then decide whether to pull the trigger or not.

aha, thanks

First off, you got a four-page breakdown from The Joker in a DM. But look, keeping it brief—you’ve been warned constantly, you've been handed yellow cards, and there’s an open thread about how you act on the Democratic Party boards. Despite all those promises that you'd stop, you kept nothing but posting copy-pastes. You had choices: either face a permanent ban from collecting enough strikes, or take a partial one. On the main forum, you got the partial.

You kept getting flagged, you were racking up warnings, and we even had a dedicated thread open just to deal with how you act on the PŽK. Despite all those empty promises you made about cleaning up your act, you just kept posting nothing but copy-pasted garbage. You had options here: either take the permanent ban for being a constant headache, or settle for a partial suspension. You got played by the refs on TV..

I'll make it through this!

And who was even complaining? Who was the one that started this whole thread about me? It was the former moderator of the "Around Us" subforum—honestly, I think that speaks for itself.

The whole point of this post is to get myself banned. I’m watching people troll around here constantly without getting hit with a single ban, so that’s exactly why I wrote this—read the whole thing before you judge.

I gotta give Štrikalica some credit here. They were actually super chill and respectful over on PP, which is a massive change of pace compared to some of the mods and admins hanging around this place.
