Dreaming of the Ridge?

Greetings, does anyone happen to know of an interesting or popular sledding spot out in the Blue Ridge Mountains??
I am looking for somewhere with a bit of a "rebel" vibe rather than a place where you have to pay for fancy chairlifts... I mean, I want a decent trail, but nothing too "professional"...
