She’s pregnant—believe me, I know the feeling all too well... currently typing this while nursing my two-month-old little one...

Hey OP, just a quick tip—next time, make sure you squeeze all that air out of the little reservoir at the top before you roll it on... it's one of those small mistakes that actually ends up causing them to pop more often than you'd think... ☕

I don't believe you, period. Logic tells me that peeing definitely doesn't lower the chances of getting pregnant. A woman has a urethra for peeing and then there's the vagina. They're two totally separate things. So, how would urinating even touch the sperm inside the vagina (assuming the guy finished inside)?

The only thing I can think of is maybe you meant that if a woman stands up right after sex to pee, the "straining" might cause more sperm to leak out. But even then, that doesn't change the odds of conception at all. Even if 2 million sperm leak out, you only need one single survivor left inside to make it happen.

Let me break down some quick math for you...
The average cycle for an American woman usually runs about 28 to 30 days.
If we're looking at a standard 28-day cycle, the fertile window typically spans from day 10 through day 16, though days 15 and 16 are really the peak. We include those earlier days because, let's face it, sperm can hang around for several days, which is honestly kind of wild if you think about it.
Just to be safe, I’d say we should probably round that window out to somewhere between 10 and 20 days—mostly because your girlfriend might not have a perfect 28-day cycle.
Since you mentioned she’s expecting her period this Thursday, which would be day 28, and you guys had sex on Saturday, which was day 22, there really isn't any chance she got pregnant, especially since you pulled out.
Even if her period ends up being a little late, it could totally just be due to things like stress or even catching a cold...

1. Like I said before... I don't really care. 🤷 😘
2. Regarding the peeing part... I'm not sure if you've heard of the basic law of cohesion. It's about how particles stay "together" and establish connections. By that law, urine is present throughout all parts of the reproductive system --> urine in the area of the seminal fluid has a fatal effect on sperm --> how? urea 😉

Since you mentioned her period is due Thursday, which is day 28, and you guys had sex on Saturday, which was day 22, there is absolutely zero chance she's pregnant from that if you finished inside.
Even if her period is late, it's likely just stress, a cold, or whatever.

Regarding the bold text:
Seminal fluid contains glucose, which feeds the sperm after ejaculation. Because of changing conditions, sperm can live for 7-10 days in the male system, but only 2-5 days in the female system.

2. Regarding the whole peeing thing... I'm not sure if you've ever even heard of the basic law of cohesion, which clearly shows that it's all about "establishing a bond" and keeping particles "together"... so, by the law of cohesion, urine is present in all parts of the reproductive system --> urine in the area of seminal fluid has a fatal effect on sperm --> how? <-- urea 😉

Regarding the bold part:
Seminal fluid contains glucose, which allows sperm to nourish themselves after ejaculation; this way, sperm can survive for 7-10 days in the male reproductive system, and 2-5 days in the female system due to changing conditions.

Oh wow, let's all just shower in this high-brow vocabulary...
I don't think the "law of cohesion" is going to cause some piss to spontaneously leap out of a toilet bowl and crawl into another opening just to bond with vaginal cells...
Seriously, stop trying to lecture us all with your "smart" talk and throwing around Latin terms for pussy because you're flat-out wrong. Maybe urea kills sperm, but it's NEVER, and I mean NEVER, going to wash semen out of a vagina... and it's definitely not making it impossible for a girl or a woman to get pregnant because of that.

And one more thing: you don't need to keep repeating facts about how long sperm survives just so you can teach us how they "eat" via glucose...

I don't care about the law of cohesion. No amount of liquid is going to crawl out of one hole and into another just to merge with vaginal cells.
Stop trying to sound smart by throwing Latin terms for anatomy at us. You aren't right. Sure, urea might kill sperm, but it will NEVER flush the semen out of the other opening. And even if it did, it wouldn't prevent pregnancy.

Also: we don't need a lecture on how sperm survives for days just so you can explain how they "feed" on glucose.

Who was even talking about flushing? 👏
Flushing and killing off sperm are two completely different things.☕

P.S.—I'm not showing off with big words. I grew up using them, so they just feel normal.😘

🤦

Look, pee comes out of the urethra, not the vagina. I feel like anyone with half a brain knows that peeing after sex isn't going to stop you from getting pregnant. 🙂

The whole reason peeing after sex is recommended is just to flush out any bacteria that might have hitched a ride into the urethra during the act. Like, if things get a little rough, you might get some minor irritation near the opening, making it easier for bacteria to sneak in. Since the vagina and the urethra are right next to each other, bacteria can easily migrate from one to the other, hit the bladder, and cause a UTI.

So yeah, it’s a good idea to go to the bathroom afterward just to wash those bacteria away if they made it into the urethra. But as far as pregnancy goes? It has absolutely nothing to do with that.

Urine leaves the bladder through the urethra, not the vagina. Anyone should understand that peeing after sex won't prevent pregnancy. 🙂

The only reason peeing after sex is recommended is to flush out any bacteria that might have entered the urethra during intercourse. For instance, rougher sex can cause minor irritation at the opening of the urethra, making it easier for bacteria to "crawl" inside. Since the vagina and the urethra are located right next to each other, bacteria from the vaginal area can migrate into the urethra, reach the bladder, and cause a UTI.

So, it’s good to pee after sex just in case bacteria made it into the urethra—to wash them away. It has absolutely nothing to do with pregnancy.

Are you forgetting that sperm could potentially move toward the area in front of the vagina due to urethral irritation, acting much like BACTERIA? 🙂

The absolute worst part is that this "genius" is just some high school kid who’s probably already—or will be very soon—trying to hawk those idiotic spikes to some naive girl.

On second thought, when you're a teenager fueled by hormones and stubborn enough to cling to your own stupidity, there isn't much to it. The only real question left is whether he'll continue down this path of making things worse, or if he'll eventually reach a point where he actually feels some shame for how foolish he was...

Thinking about it, when you're a high schooler fueled by hormones and stubborn enough to cling to stupidity, there's really only one question. Will he get worse, or will he (hopefully) eventually grow up and feel embarrassed by how dumb he was?

Who says only one person uses this handle? Is it my majesty? 😲
Sorry, 🙂

Come on, admin... too many "smart" people picking on a poor high schooler like me. 🙂

No, I didn't. That was a rhetorical question, though—if you really have the stamina to insist on being right, by all means, carry on.
😘

Aside from the fact that you lack any concrete answers—let alone scientifically backed ones that align with basic "natural laws" (call them whatever you like)—you’re now pivoting to some sort of crusade for justice? 😕 I suspect you’re merely trolling because you're engaging in a forum debate without having a single argument that comes remotely close to supporting your position. Honestly, it's difficult even to discern what your actual stance is, given how much disconnected nonsense you've thrown out there.

We are discussing something that is perfectly clear, yet you persistently twist the narrative and drag the conversation somewhere entirely irrelevant. Based on everything you've written thus far, it seems you've completely missed the mark—and even the information you do possess (which I assume you're just Googling as we go, whatever) relies on some "reliable" source you haven't bothered to describe, let alone explain how it relates to the core issue at hand.

I’m sorry, but in an ocean of examples, here is yet another one of your sentences that proves my point...
are you forgetting that sperm resulting from damage to the urethra can reach the area in front of the vulva, much like BACTERIA???

...at which point one can only wonder if you actually know anything at all.
who says this handle is only used by one person? My humble self?

Many people say that after they realize they've managed to drop several pearls of wisdom in such a short span of time.

I honestly can’t decide if I should be laughing or crying at posts like these. 😢 Good God, I have to wonder if some of you guys slept through biology class back in middle school. This is basic stuff—stuff you’re supposed to learn by the 7th or 8th grade.

placidlynx26 said:Who says this handle belongs to just one person? My humble opinion? 😲
I feel for you. 🙂

So, which of the people using that handle are actually women? 😁 Just enough to give me a reason to cry.

Come on, Admin... there are way too many "geniuses" out here coming for me, and I'm just some high school kid. 🙂

It won't work. Honestly, I think this thread actually has some potential here. You aren't the only one flying blind, and we see these kinds of brain farts popping up on forums all the time. I’m just saying—maybe use this as a chance to actually learn something. If you happen to pee a little after sex, it doesn't mean you won't be staring at a positive pregnancy test a month from now. 😁

wow ☕
It doesn't matter if those usernames belong to men or women. What matters is that several people using those handles graduated with nursing degrees just six months ago. ☕
And yet, those same "people" can't seem to grasp how some incompetent individuals have the nerve to judge anyone based on nothing but luck or their own limited experiences.

If anyone out there still thinks a woman can't get pregnant—or that her chances are somehow lowered—after she pees, I honestly suggest they take a long, hard look at their own anatomy 😁 before they even think about opening their mouths. Actually, just burn their college diplomas and do the rest of us a massive favor. ☕

And btw, these days, any idiot with a pulse can walk across a stage and grab a degree. 😁

This whole saga just keeps getting more ridiculous by the second. 🍿

We are honestly doomed if these are the people landing jobs out there. 🤣 It’s as if their university didn't even bother teaching them the fundamentals—though, judging by the current state of things, they probably don't even understand basic anatomy very well. 😢

I honestly don't even get what they're trying to say here... Like, how can someone walk around with a college degree and still not know how to speak American? Give me a break. 😕

From what I gather, the whole goal for sperm is basically a marathon run through the vaginal canal, heading straight for the uterus, and finally aiming for that sweet spot in the first third of the fallopian tubes.

Or maybe I don't even know. 😉
