Not much to go on yet, but it looks pretty cool!

The Rock and Bruce Willis—I guess I just have to sit down and watch this one.

I honestly don't see how they can top that scene from the end of the first movie where the ice cracks and completely wipes out the underwater base 😁

I’ve got a strong feeling that Retaliation is going to blow the previous movie out of the water. It’s a bummer that we won't be seeing Sienna Miller in this one, though. 😁 But hey, on the bright side, we get Adriana Lima instead. 😁

The first installment was catastrophically unrealistic, so I am certainly not expecting anything better from the sequel. It will likely just be a continuation of endless, mindless action beats. When I recall the scene where he’s practically pulverizing the asphalt with his bare feet in Paris, or those massive sub-glacial bases and those ridiculous drilling vehicles...🙂🙂

Hasbar is really hitting their stride lately. Between Transformers, G.I. Joe, Battleship, and Monopoly...

Same goes for Transformers—those movies are made strictly for kids, or they at least feel that way.😁

I thought the first one was alright (all I wanted from it were the effects and some fun), zero brainpower required, plus a few funny scenes the theater went nuts for, like this one.🙂🤣🤣😂

The trailer is decent (that Seven Nation Army remix makes it hit harder), and this Adriana is finger-licking good.😁

OMG Retaliation is being pushed back a whole year just for some 3D conversion nonsense. Honestly, this is peak studio greed right here. It’s pretty likely the movie is total garbage anyway, so they’re just looking for an excuse to squeeze out extra cash—but doing this literally a month before the premiere? 🙂

Caught Retaliation last night. Honestly, it’s better than the first one, though that’s really not saying much 😁 . It’s definitely not some cinematic masterpiece that’s going to change your worldview 😬 , but it’s solid, mindless entertainment if that's what you're looking for.

Adriana Lima looks great, The Rock has some pretty funny moments going with Tatum and the rest of the cast, and even the action sequences are decent, even if they are completely over the top and unrealistic. 😁 Also, yeah, Cobra Commander looks an awful lot like Shredder. 🤣

Bottom line: if you just want two hours of non-stop action and cool visuals, go ahead and give it a watch. 😉

Look, that whole sequence with Snake Eyes and those ninjas felt pretty tedious to me; I was basically just counting down the minutes until that CGI ballet was over. 😁

On the flip side, once The Rock grabs a machine gun and Adriana shows off those curves, now we're talking... 🤣

So, I just finished watching both of those movies! Now, look—I’m not exactly a huge fan of this franchise, but I figured, why not give it a shot? Honestly, I was fully expecting some total garbage, but it actually turned out to be a pretty solid way to pass the time—definitely watchable! It was just something fun to zone out to while I wait for some actual heavy hitters to come out, you know? Like maybe something along the lines of Avengers 2.
