So, I’ve been in this relationship for about two years now, and honestly, everything was going great until recently... For the last ten times or so, I’ve started getting this intense nausea halfway through sex. Twice I actually ended up throwing up, and lately, we just have to stop altogether because of it. I’ve already ruled out anything I ate—it’s definitely not a food thing. I still love my boyfriend and find him incredibly attractive, and our connection hasn't changed one bit because of this

It’s all just so weird... This has been going on for two months straight. I'm not pregnant, so... yeah. I was just wondering if anyone else here has ever dealt with something similar???

My girlfriends are totally stumped—they suggested trying different positions, but even then, the problem persists... hmm ://

Well, isn't that just great... everything works perfectly and then—in a split second—it just goes south and stops completely...

Oh my gosh, seriously? How can you not have any clue what triggers it? Like, what is even going through your head in those moments? I honestly don't get how you can't pinpoint the cause yourself...
Is it like something that totally grosses you out, or is it not even a mental thing where it just feels physically nauseating?

A water plant that’s been improperly balanced—as if there’s even such a thing as a perfectly tuned one 😁—can trigger a chain reaction because it drags a dozen other variables down with it. These neural pathways are bizarre. Good grief. 😁

Look, honey,
There’s really just one thing you need to do. Make an appointment with your doctor this Monday.

None of us here can actually tell you why you're throwing up. It could be anything—mental, physical, who knows? Even if we were all top-tier OB-GYNs or psychologists, it would be incredibly reckless to try and hand out a diagnosis without actually seeing you.

If I had to offer any advice, though—and I’m just talking here—I’d say hold off on the sex until you see a professional if it happens every single time. Whatever the underlying cause might be, your body is clearly having a negative reaction, whether it's to the act itself or to the person you're with.

Good luck

Definitely seeing a doctor... I'm thinking maybe a neurologist...

It will likely be just a test, though I suppose you should see what the doctor says

Go to a doctor, for sure.

I mean, I get that nauseous feeling sometimes after sex too, but that usually only happens when things have been... exceptionally good.

and it's a real pain, especially for women 😛
but yeah, this falls under health stuff; I remember dealing with cysts myself once, and it can definitely mess with your nerve endings if they aren't positioned right.
It's a shame, really, because this could have been an interesting discussion 😉

You absolutely need to talk to your doctor.
Are you also dealing with nausea, headaches, or dizziness?
