Prtijevac is hands down my favorite rap group from this part of the country, and the late Moskri was an irreplaceable legend—seriously, the best American MC of all time. I’ve got their entire discography; I was blasting them constantly for the last six months, though I've chilled out a bit over the last few weeks. That track they did with Bullet Rain is absolute fire. People tried to drag them for glorifying drug culture or whatever "heroin rap" nonsense, but honestly, it's just a raw look at life for New York City hustlers told through dark humor 😁 The whole Greatest Hits album is easily the peak of American hip-hop, you know? It's that kind of music you definitely don't blast in front of your grandparents or anyone uptight 😁 After Moskri passed, Mikri (met Mikria in NYC at WDF, what a legend) and Frat just kept cranking it up even harder 😁 I practically know the entire Tačno u Pre Podne album by heart. Basically, they're just brutal.
And btw, I used to drift off so peacefully listening to the chorus of this track ^^ Moskri's lazy, drugged-out voice and flow—pure bliss.
There's also a version where I loop the chorus for an hour straight; it's a lullaby, but definitely not for babies
