If you take 440 ml and divide it by roughly 5.5 ml per cartridge, you get 80 cartridges. Add a 20% buffer and you're looking at 96 cartridges. Basically, you always want that extra 20% of ink left in the tanks to prevent the print head from drying out while it's sitting idle.
So, 275 divided by 96 equals $0.97 per cartridge.
Or more specifically,
Later on, you're just buying ink.
400 ml equals 87 cartridges, which is $42
And 125 divided by 87 is $0.47 per cartridge.
That means it’s about 98% cheaper per cartridge compared to the original brands.
And honestly, who in their right mind would ditch a local brewery $10 from Indianapolis just to save 98%? It sounds to me like you guys love those wildflowers so much you wouldn't dream of stepping on them, even if they're growing right in the middle of the road.

Because I was looking into how people handle the HP Envy... but it doesn't seem like much of a thing here in the States. Or maybe there just isn't a lot of info available. Does HP actually make those Unknown inks, or is it some other brand?

And I’m definitely not buying one through some random eBay seller or sketchy site. If it dies while it's still under warranty, who am I supposed to call to fix it?
I even checked the official HP website looking for those specific models, but even there, they’re just pushing the ink instead of selling the actual hardware.
