So, what’s the move when I buy sneakers that fit perfectly, only to have my big toe basically punch through the front within two weeks? It doesn't matter how reinforced the toe box feels at first. For years, I’ve just been buying a size too big to compensate, but then my foot just slides around inside, making me clumsy as hell. I end up tripping over everything—I swear I almost wiped out on the painted lines of a crosswalk the other day, lol. I have a really narrow foot, but my big toe is huge. Is there some kind of reinforcement an orthopedist can do for the front of the shoe, or am I stuck walking like a total klutz forever?🤷

Ugh... now I have to deal with all these ridiculous pieces of advice you guys are throwing at me,
I actually wore Doc Martens during my time in the service (the ones without the steel toes) because I couldn't find a single pair of standard-issue combat boots that actually fit, so they let me slide... I don't have a photo of my Docs with a hole in them since I gave them to some guy I used to work with so he could wear them. BTW, wearing Martens in the middle of summer 🙏 ...and as for that tasteless comment about me cutting my nails too short... honestly, I’d be more than happy to send a close-up shot of my fingernails if we're really going there.
Anyway, if this is the extent of what you people know, maybe just stop trying to advise me... thanks for nothing, I guess.😉

You've got those Dr. Martens sneakers with the steel toe.
