Those aggressive qualifying maps Red Bull was running since mid-last season weren't technically allowed under FIA rules. Why the FIA let a basically semi-illegal car grab the title is a different story (probably because none of the rival teams bothered to file a protest?).

Funny enough, Vettel’s dominance over Webber kicked off right when they started using that aggressive mapping.

As far as I'm concerned, all this electronic crap needs to be kicked out of Formula 1 immediately.

Who they’re actually going to handicap and who they aren't is all just guesswork right now. Let's see what actually happens before we start making big claims.

McLaren, Digic, the Brits, the tech guys, and whatever else—they all have actual names. Is it really that hard to just call the drivers and teams by their names? Are they really such terrible people that you all feel the need to use these insults and nicknames?

I'd also like to ask the moderators to keep a closer eye on the language being used here!

Back when everyone was calling Louis whatever they wanted without consequence, nobody said a word, but now apparently being called a crybaby is a crime.☕

What’s actually the difference between this engine mapping they just banned and the kind
of mapping every driver gets to adjust during a race?
Each driver has a switch on their steering wheel that lets them toggle through about ten different engine modes,
so why can't they just set one specific mapping for qualifying via that switch?

I’m not looking for the usual predictable stuff... ☕

It’s honestly adorable how Christian Horner keeps acting all brave, claiming that banning certain engine maps and exhaust diffusers will finally show us whether they actually belong on the same level as Red Bull. As if the guys over at Red Bull have just been taking a three-month nap and haven't developed a single new thing.
From what I’ve gathered about Goodyear prepping the medium and soft compounds, it looks like we're in for some serious tire degradation. Toss in the fact that there's a pretty decent chance of an SC, and I’m expecting a really entertaining race where Jenson Button might just pull off another great result again.
