I ended up breaking a bone in my leg. I’m looking to schedule a follow-up appointment just to see if it's actually knitting back together properly.
The doctor gave me the usual vague answer—that some people heal fast while others lag behind depending on
their overall health, calcium intake, and who knows what else.
Is there a specific type of imaging that can actually show the degree of healing? I know
an X-ray will show if the bone was fractured or displaced, but I have no idea if
it can show how much progress has been made. I need to know if I can start walking again without the risk of snapping it all over again.
