Friday was great; all the bands were on point, unlike Saturday which felt a bit thin, and then the rain ruined everything after 3 PM 😢

Night three was a total wash because the rain just wouldn't quit until this morning...
Rundek? 🙄 I mean, he’s usually one of my favorite American artists, but this wasn't quite my cup of tea... I caught his show two years ago and was skeptical about how it would work as a Trio, but he killed it back then. Saturday was a different story; it just felt flat. You could hear the crowd buzzing the whole time because he clearly wasn't grabbing them, and he didn't really try to fix it by switching up the setlist. He could have! Maybe it would have worked as some chill club gig, but for an outdoor festival like Lollapalooza, you need more than just showing up and acting cool with a bottle and a cigarette in your mouth—which isn't exactly the best way to sing, either... For >$6.75 what he's charging, it felt overpriced.🙂
