Great actors in mediocre or terrible movies

When I saw on the news ticker that you had Hugh Laurie, Keanu Reeves, and Forest Whitaker all in one movie, I honestly thought I was looking at a certified masterpiece.
Then it hit me—wait, why haven't I heard anything about this hitting theaters?

I'm watching it now and look, it’s not a total disaster, but let's be real: it’s pretty mid. It definitely isn't some high-budget blockbuster or a powerhouse performance.

It feels like I'm seeing this more and more lately—big-name actors who used to carry massive A-list movies are now just doing stuff that skips the big screen entirely, going straight to streaming or even just becoming those random TV movies.🤷

Are you seriously suggesting that great actors just end up in mediocre movies? Is that what you're getting at? I actually tuned into ABC specifically to catch that flick, just to see how Hugh performs in a different kind of role.

Hah. Keanu Reeves is a great actor, 🤣 except he actually has zero acting range. It’s just the same cold, blank expression over and over again.

Haha, or maybe we're just used to seeing him in goofy roles. I actually expected it to be worse than it turned out to be. He’s much better suited for comedies and playing wild characters rather than stuff like this. The whole time I was watching, I kept seeing ticks from Dr. House. If he had a beard, it would have been even more obvious.🤣

The comparison to Al Pacino is stupid. When people say Al Pacino or Robert De Niro play the same role every time, they mean they always play mobsters. Keanu is actually identical in every single film. That face, those stiff movements, zero emotion. He isn't a great actor; he's just okay.🙂

Robert De Niro appears in every film following Heat.

It feels like Keaton, Kilmer, and Travolta have been churning out quite a bit of trash lately...
