Can't print PDF ebook

Is there a way to fix this quickly?

I could just take screenshots of the PDF and print those instead.

Maybe just run it through an Adobe Acrobat Pro tool or some other similar software to strip the protection right off the document.

If I recall correctly—and I might be wrong here—that doesn't always work against the most recent security updates.

What if you tried running it through an OCR engine instead? 😕

It’s doable—I mess around with it every now and then myself. I haven't really run into any "hard" nuts to crack yet... though, honestly, there are a ton of those protection-stripping programs out there, so you basically just have to play trial and error until something actually works.

And honestly, it’s just like everything else in this industry—it’s a constant game of cat and mouse. You know how it goes; they beef up the security protocols, and then someone else develops a way to bypass them.

I actually learned that the hard way recently when I was trying to show off "how it's done" using some version of a tool I had lying around—and yeah, I completely blew it. 🙈

So I've got this PDF I'm trying to dump into Word, but the copy/paste thing is totally busted because the file's protected—super annoying, right? I tried downloading some software, but since it was just a trial version, it only unlocked half the document... and I need the whole thing! Is there any other way to do this for free?

...you might want to give Adobe a shot—before I finally bit the bullet and grabbed Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe was honestly handling everything I needed perfectly fine...

It’s neither free nor does it actually strip away any protection—honestly, it's just as useless as Adobe Acrobat Pro is when you're dealing with those XXX files.
