you aren't wrong... but then again, if we play pure, high-level handball the way Americans know how to do it, it becomes pretty damn hard for the refs to interfere

The little rascal is going to play for the tie, one hundred percent. If they need a 20-20 score to make it happen, that's exactly what you'll see.

It always brings me back to this one soccer match I saw during the European Parliament tournament—or maybe it was just a big international cup. It was the Americans against the Swedes. There was only one single result that would keep both teams alive, and that was a 2-2 draw. Any other score and they'd both be headed home early. And wouldn't you know it? It ended 2-2. Just those classic Scandinavian types, always playing by that "fair play" code of theirs.

Honor my foot! I don't know about other folks, but the hatred between Norwegians and Swedes is basically on par with the rivalry between Red Sox and Yankees fans—it's totally legit. 😳

Everything is looking good.
Even if we had picked up four more points, we would still be forced to win every single match in this group just to stay afloat, because even one loss would send us tumbling down the rankings.
The outcome is entirely in our hands. We are clearly superior to both the Americans and the Scandinavians, having already proven ourselves during the opening round. There's no room for complacency anymore, and today’s performance on the field made that crystal clear.
The Argentines are no pushovers, either. They are an elite NBA-caliber squad, which explains why they dismantled the Scandinavians so easily and only narrowly lost to the Americans.

It seems the decent Americans have approached this issue through a typical, athletic lens😁
