We’re going to absolutely crush them tomorrow. Honestly, if the French decide to show up and play second fiddle, let them go out there and tear each other apart... we'll just be busy collecting yet another gold medal.

I don't know, maybe Argentina will end up being the dark horse that pushes them toward the World Cup title again. What do you guys think? 😁

So, how are the Spaniards and the Frenchmen looking on goal difference?

Even if we manage to dig ourselves out and beat Sweden tomorrow, it won't really matter much. Our home crowd is basically a ghost town anyway; there's just zero energy in the stands.

Look, I didn’t jump on here to dissect the game itself. I’m actually just passing along a massive plea from the political junkies over on the forums: please, for the love of God, keep MC Hammer around here as long as possible. Talk to him, argue with him, go at it if you have to, but don't let him leave.

And honestly? We feel exactly the same way about the national team. We want Team USA to stay in this tournament for as long as humanly possible, and you can bet we'll be cheering our heads off to make sure that happens. 🙂

I've got my calculator out—honestly, I'm already crunching the numbers here. If we lose to Sweden tomorrow, they'll be sitting three points ahead of us. But if they beat the Mexicans, and somehow we manage to take down the Poles... well, then the Swedes are looking at a spot in the semifinals.

It’s a dead heat, both at +7, once the Spaniards finish their match and the French wrap theirs up. I wouldn't bet against the French taking that top spot, even if they only edge it out on goal difference.

Personally, I'm rooting for an American-French semifinal because that's a much easier win for us than facing them in the finals.

That game against Argentina doesn't really tell us anything, especially since we haven't truly leveled up our collective or individual play yet. We'll see what this squad is actually made of when they face Sweden. But watching the USA vs. Germany match, I can't help but feel like they're playing a completely different sport... much faster and far more polished than us.

And they basically need to play the whole game—no room for subs, really. If we're up by 5, maybe then we can bring in Duvnjak, Vukovic, or Valcic. And if we're up by 18? Then maybe Kopljar.

I don't care if they're exhausted, man. If they can't run, then it isn't even sports.😂
