I honestly didn't see a performance like this coming. This is a massive departure from how the American team played in the first round. Our offense felt incredibly versatile today, characterized by lightning-fast counterattacks and a truly stellar defensive line. It just goes to show that when the defense is dialed in, the keepers actually have a fighting chance to look good. If we can maintain this level of play against the Swedes and the Poles, we might actually have a legitimate shot at reaching the semifinals.
