I honestly don't know how you guys see this goalie swap, because to me, it just doesn't make any sense. Even Šola admits that Alilović hasn't been in shape for six months and is basically out of commission for this tournament.

So then—get this—he leaves Alilović right where he is, but decides to bench Šega, who’s actually been pretty solid lately—aside from that mess against Denmark—and has been consistently great all season playing for the Washington, D.C. squad.

Instead, he puts Pešić in the lineup... who, by the way, is literally the second or third string keeper for that same Washington, D.C. team where Šega is the starter.

I mean, what is the point of the change if we aren't fixing the actual issue with Alilović? Or why ditch Šega when he actually did a decent job with the limited minutes he got? Is this just some weird psychological move to "wake up" Mirko, since he's still technically the number one option?🤷

The mere fact that we’re starting off with just one point means we need three straight wins, some seriously bad luck from the Danes in their next three games (who aren't exactly going to hand up first place), and a massive stroke of luck that we don't run into the French in the semifinals if we end up finishing second in the group...

If we drop the game against Argentina, all of this goes right out the window. After that, we're basically relying on math and prayer just to scrape into second place and move on...

Why is it "lost"? If we pull off three wins, we're definitely in the semis, right?
