Man, I gotta ditch this ancient CRT monitor and grab some decent headphones with a 3.5mm jack that actually work when plugged into my PS4 controller. Also, do I need to hunt down some specific cable or an adapter since I'm rocking a 560 Ti Hawk?

Is this thing seriously the size of a stuffed animal?

Just one 24-inch, 4-pound slab of meat... that'd do the trick.😬

Either it’s stuffed with junk or it’s just a damn scrawny thing... 😬

Maybe just some chill 22-inch setup weighing like seven or eight pounds

Grab this monitor instead (22" and about 7.5 lbs), then just use whatever cash is left over for some headphones...😬

I'm looking at $800 for the monitor and maybe $200 for some decent headphones.
From what I can tell, that Dell monitor mentioned above is solid.
The only thing tripping me up is which cable I need to grab—my GPU is running a DVI-I port, but the monitor is strictly DVI-D.

I remember when Dell monitors used to actually include cables in the box—and I mean two of them, mind you. You'd get both VGA and DVI. That was back in the day, anyway. I’m not sure what their current policy is, but if you're heading down to Best Buy, definitely double-check the specs before you drop the cash.

A DVI-D cable (with the same connector on both ends) will fit perfectly into a DVI-I port on your graphics card, so that's the one you need.

So, is this the one I need?

The link isn't working right now, but they’re aware of it over at Lincoln. Just grab a DVI-D cable for the monitor—but honestly, check if one's already included in the box first.
