Why was I banned?!

It all kicked off when I requested a ban on my old handle, agent. That was the start of my long, drawn-out ordeal here. Then scotsman goes and bans another one of my accounts, only to unban it later and slap a partial ban on my access to History Forum.

After some games this winter, he told me he’d touch base with the History admins to see how they wanted to handle me. It’s now mid-September and absolutely nothing has been resolved. I reached out a week ago for a status update, but he didn't respond—claims he's too busy. Funny enough, he has plenty of time to moderate History and other forums, yet I'm left hanging. To make matters worse, because I used the manchild handle on History, scot hits me with a week-long ban and a partial restriction on that specific sub-forum only for tyndall to step in today and ban both the ataşe and medeni handles. 😕😕😕
Since medeni already had a partial ban on History anyway, it’s just pure chaos. You can't tell who's running the show anymore.

I politely asked Scott for an update, only to find out that after eight months, absolutely nothing has moved. Fine. I won't let a history glitch ruin my mood—there are plenty of other forums out there I can jump to instead.

So, here is the bottom line: is it worth my time to keep posting here, or should I just wait out the rest of the ban on Manchild before I bother reaching out?

Look, I don't claim to be an expert on forum etiquette, but you're posting from an alt while your main account is still suspended. That means this handle is headed for the scrap heap, the ban on your primary stays active, and you'll just have to sit tight until it expires. Or something to that effect. 😉

Sure, but I don't see the connection. If I PERSONALLY request a nickname ban for my own reasons, what does that have to do with me continuing to post under a different handle? It isn't a violation of the site rules; the specific handle was banned, so now all associated handles are banned. That's the bottom line.

The rules don't state that requesting a personal ban prohibits using other handles. There's no provision addressing this issue at all.

So, let me get this straight. You were slapped with a partial ban on the History subforum because the moderators decided you were being a "disruptive element," right? Yes, you were.
And did you go back to posting on History using a clone account—you know, acting like a total manchild—while that partial ban was still active? You did.
Is that why you ended up getting banned from the entire site for violating the terms of that specific restriction on the History board? Precisely.
Did you continue to roam the forums with these clone accounts while you were technically barred from the whole platform for your behavior? Indeed you did.
And then those nicknames got hit with a permanent ban because they were clearly just clones of a banned user? They did.
